It is about the perspective shift that took place in the Corona time. Like an anamorphic image that one looks at from the wrong perspective, the construction of ourselves in the world, in society, in what we call nature suddenly appears inconsistent, disparate, in need of explanation - individual parts become visible anew. Which everyday rituals of thinking or doing determine us and our relations? Which circumstances determine us? What if nature is no longer the other, but we rethink this relationship? And what do we then think about ourselves as human beings?

We balance on the old boundaries between nature and civilization and explore plant, animal and social aspects of ourselves and our bodies.

“After some time, I turned off the flashlight and could see the darkness.“

Rituale 1

3-Kanal-Videoinstallation

(März 2021, freiland Potsdam und im Virtuellen Museum Potsdam)

Bianca Baalhorn: Idee, Performance
Udo Koloska: Idee, Sound, Video
